REPORTING TO: Head of Corp Infrastructure
POSITION OVERVIEW
This role is part of the tech services team, primarily supporting Sports Interactive IT helpdesk support engineers. It requires on-site presence 3-4 days a week.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide on-site and remote support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Support and advise junior team members in troubleshooting, device administration, and user applications.
- Coordinate with central SEGA Technology Services teams to ensure seamless service.
- Manage IT requests and incidents via the IT Service Desk system.
- Collaborate with vendor support teams for hardware and application troubleshooting.
- Assist in onboarding new staff with hardware and software setup.
- Manage offboarding processes, hardware return, and account deactivation.
- Maintain accurate hardware inventories and ensure OS patching.
- Undertake small to medium IT projects to improve efficiency.
- Create and maintain IT documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Support setup of IT/AV equipment for live events.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years\’ experience in IT support (beneficial but not essential).
- Supervisory or team leadership experience (desirable).
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
- Interest in latest hardware technology.
- Proficiency in MacOS and Windows OS, including device management solutions.
- Experience with user administration (Active Directory, EntraID, Azure, O365).
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite, Atlassian products, network principles, and security.
- Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems.
- Familiarity with Logitech meeting room equipment.
- Strong willingness to learn and team-oriented attitude.
