We are looking for a Senior Legal Director to join this dynamic team in their London HQ. The successful candidate will lead on supporting international licensing and client agreements. This is a full-time, permanent position. We are looking for a senior qualified lawyer, with considerable experience in digital licensing matters within music (or potentially moving image). The successful candidate will have a demonstrable interest in and passion for the business of music. We are looking for robust legal training and experience, including both private practice and in-house. Commercial nous, confidence to make decisions, responsiveness and ability to mentor and manage junior lawyers will make for a great personality and cultural fit. Dealing with senior stakeholders across Operations, Business Development and Finance, the remit covers (amongst other things): Legal Strategy with a focus on digital licensing, intellectual property protection, and regulatory compliance. Contract Negotiation: leading negotiations for complex licensing agreements, partnerships, and other legal arrangements. Risk Management: identifying and mitigating legal risks across various business functions. The London team work together in the office in Central London 3 days a week.
