Are you an expert in economic analysis, modelling, and translating technical insights to support catalytic change? If so, we are looking for an experienced Transport Economist to join our team.
About the Organisation
The North East Mayoral Combined Authority is at the forefront of evidence-based policy making, utilizing advanced analytics and innovative thinking to shape the future of transport and economic growth in the region. The Data, Analysis and Insights Team fosters a culture of rigorous analysis and strategic insight, positioning the North East as a leader in transport economics and transformative change.
Role Overview
This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to lead analytical priorities for major transport and transformative programmes, including the ambitious UK Bus Reform. You will contribute to the Franchising Scheme Assessment, especially the Economic Case, applying your expertise to embed economic insight into policy development, investment decisions, and long-term strategies.
