Audit & Accounts Senior – Manchester
We’re working with a leading North West accountancy group that’s looking to hire an Audit & Accounts Senior for their Manchester office.
This is a standout opportunity offering the option to work a 4-day week without compromising salary, progression or variety of work.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead audits from planning to completion
- Supervise and support junior team members
- Prepare and review accounts for a range of limited companies
- Maintain regular contact with your own portfolio of clients
- Mix of work: 50% audit / 50% accounts preparation
- Responsible for approx. 20 audits – all North West based
- Client base includes SMEs across manufacturing, construction, and recruitment
- Opportunity to support larger audits alongside the wider group
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong background in UK general practice
- Proven experience leading audits and preparing accounts for SME clients
- ACCA/ACA qualified, finalist, or qualified by experience
- Self-motivated and commercially aware
- Able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport
What’s on Offer:
- £38,000 – £45,000 salary depending on experience
- 35-hour working week (with a 4-day option)
