What this job involves :

P eople Experience Partner for our Capital Markets UK Residential B2C business and UK C apital Markets Development team . The role will provide business partnering and advisory services across a broad range of HR matters outlined below.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Service Delivery & Information – delivering an integrated, pragmatic and reliable service, using a consistent and commercial approach through clearly articulated policies, processes and accurate data.

  • Actively participate in developing and embedding HR strategy, policies and processes ensuring that HR activity is based around the needs of the businesses, legislation and best practice.

  • Contribute to the achievement of the HR strategy and business plan objectives, through the provision of pro-active generalist HR support and advice to business managers.

  • Participate in creating, maintaining and launching policies, processes and templates as requested.

  • Collaborate and engage with the wider HR and business community to provide a responsive, consistent and forward-thinking HR service.

  • Manage family matter cases.

  • Manage flexible working requests to decision and provide change details HR operations team.

  • Support managers with disciplinary, grievance and appeal hearings and other complex staff issues as requested and track using ER Tracker.

  • Proactively manage long term or repetitive absence including OHP referrals and GIPP cases in conjunction with C&B and track using ER Tracker.

  • Review and inform HR Operations of fixed term contract extensions or terminations.

  • Actively maintain UK and where needed international legislative knowledge.

  • Design appropriate initiatives and deliver project work as agreed.

  • Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required at the request.

  • Uphold and actively promote our values and behaviours.

Organisation Design & Development – identifying and implementing beneficial changes to the organisation in line with future requirements whether structural or cultural.

  • Manage organisational change programmes including restructuring, redundancy consultation and TUPE or support an HRBP for large or more complex programmes and track using ER Tracker.

  • Support harmonisation of terms and conditions, following change programmes and acquisitions, as required.

Resourcing & Talent Planning – ensuring a proactive, robust and professional method of identifying and securing talent to address gaps in skills, experience, knowledge and behaviour.

  • Support workforce planning (WFP) activities.

  • Support the secondment process and associated administration.

  • Manage international transfers (incoming and outgoing) using appropriate third parties.

Learning & Talent Development – maximising existing talent through actively managing performance and development of skills, experience, knowledge and behaviour.

  • Support L&D activity in partnership with TAD Team.

  • Support and provide advice to managers and staff on performance management issues (PIP and probation cases) and track using ER Tracker.

  • Deliver coaching and advice to line manager and training on policy, process and guidelines.

Reward & Recognition – building employee commitment to the organisation.

  • Assist with building employee commitment to the organisation.

  • Support reward or recognition activities with the Reward and C&B Team.

  • Support the annual salary and bonus review cycle.

Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:

  • Experience with Workday is beneficial.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, processes, and best practices.

  • Excellent understanding of employment legislation (UK and international).

  • Proficiency in managing employee relations cases (e.g., disciplinary, grievance, absence management).

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business needs.

  • Experience with organisational change management.

  • Project management capabilities.

  • Coaching and training skills for line managers.

  • Analytical skills for workforce planning and data-driven decision making.

  • Familiarity with HR information systems and tracking tools (e.g., ER Tracker).

  • Knowledge of performance management processes.

  • Understanding of reward and recognition practices.
