From this continued success we are now looking to recruit a Group Financial Controller to allow us to continue our exciting growth plans.

This is an opportunity to work within a fast-paced, change orientated, highly regarded Finance team that is at the centre of the business and decision making. The role oversees the Accounting & Payouts team and the Business Partnering team, currently with 2 direct reports and a total permanent team of 12. The role oversees several fundamental areas including the provision of financial information, both external and internal, business planning and reforecasting, pricing, payroll and financial governance.
The role reports directly into the Group CFO and the Executive Committee and is the natural succession to the Group CFO, providing cover to the Group CFO. The role is a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) of the business.
Role responsibilities;
- Manage and own the month end close process in line with agreed deadlines.
- Deliver accurate and timely flash and final management accounts to the Board of Directors
- Management and review of the balance sheet reconciliation preparation
- Manage the year end audit process
- Own quarterly reporting to private equity owners on financial performance.
- Responsibility to overseeing monthly payroll
- Oversee the pay-outs process including reconciliation for daily supplier & vendor payments for all equipment purchases.
- Deliver the annual business plan, based on bottom-up derivation into the Board of Directors
- Deliver a Pricing Framework that supports the commercial strategies of the business
- Deliver effective cost control and supporting analytic
- Fully qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ICAEW) accountant with +5 years’ experience, preferably with previous Finance Director experience
- Financial services experience is essential
- Experience in Group Reporting and preparing a consolidation process including detailed cashflows.
- Complex funder accounting e.g. Hedge / Deemed Loan / SPV accounting
- Experience in managing teams.
