Job Summary:The primary purpose of this position is to support the reporting, analysis and accounting needs related to SEGA Europe consumer products business.Reporting to the Head of Brand Licensing EMEA, the role will involve working with and supporting the Brand Licensing team in a varied, interesting and fast paced environment and will be exposed to all areas of the licensing business including liaison with licensees, agents and various divisions of SEGA. Key Responsibilities:Licensees reporting/accounts receivables:

  • Facilitate the timely collection & processing of royalty statements uploaded by licensees in Dependable Solutions, ensuring accurate invoices are raised by the accounting team and shared with Licensees
  • Ensuring client payments are accurate, complete and sent in a good timely manner liaising directly with Licensees and Agents.
  • Monitor receivables, Calculate Royalty recoupment, request Invoices to be raised by accounting team, perform Payment Reconciliation, liaising directly with Licensees and Agents.
  • Assist with internal or external financial queries raised by Licensees & agents

Financial Analysis/ Forecasting and Data Analysis:

  • Collect & track revenue forecasting from licensees & agents on a quarterly basis
  • Assist the Commercial Team with preparing quarterly royalty projections & analysis
  • Assist Head of Brand licensing in monthly management reports
  • Support the commercial team with Ad-hoc Data Analysis
  • Contract processing
  • Support in processing of deal memos and approvals process, with the help of the Licensing Coordinator, liaising with SEGA departments, agents and licensee
  • Manage all stages of the Commercial Approval Pipeline, from Deal memo submissions to agreement drafting & execution, supported by Legal Department and Commercial Managers, with the help of the Licensing Coordinator

Administration:

  • Maintain and update various Trackers and Templates used on a regular basis, including but not limited to Contracts and Forecasting Trackers, Commercial Proposals etc.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Degree level or equivalent
  • Experience of business finance and/or experience of accounting/AP/AR
  • High level of numeracy & strong proficiency in MS Excel, Word
  • High attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate reports
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated
  • Ability to work efficiently and in a team
  • Able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
  • Solid organisation skills
  • Licensing/Handling royalties experience would be beneficial
