Base Location: For this role, we require successful applicants to be based from one of our Scottish locations – Perth.
Salary: £35,200 – £52,800 plus performance-related bonus and a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role
SSEN Transmission has a fantastic opportunity for a PMO Analyst to join our Business Planning and Performance team. Operating from within the Business Planning PMO function, you will contribute to the development and improvement of PMO services and support the business with operational and regulatory delivery requirements. This role involves facilitating the successful delivery of projects through strong planning, governance, reporting and stakeholder management.
You will
- As a strong communicator, you will be required to develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across the business. This includes presenting information to senior management to gain buy in and support.
- Apply project management methodologies to track and monitor key milestones, support effective communication within working groups, uphold programme governance, assess and manage risks and analyse data to deliver progress reports for the senior leadership team and key stakeholders.
- Engage constructively and develop a network of a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external. Working closely with technical, financial and engineering specialists to ensure effective communication of information.
- Contribute to the development, definition, improvement and embedding of project management methods, systems, supporting processes, tools and techniques.
You have
- A degree qualification or relevant experience in Project Management or PMO team setting.
- Strong meeting leadership and the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels of the organisation are essential to this role, building effective relationships and delivering business-critical presentations to both internal and external audiences.
- An understanding of the electricity industry as well as a basic awareness of the licence obligations under which SSEN Transmission operates.
- Experience in developing solutions with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) as well as solid Microsoft Office experience (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams & SharePoint).
