Overview
Expro is recruiting for a Field Service Supervisor (FSS2.2) New Technologies within the Well Construction Regional Product Line. Deployment would be throughout the ESSA region on an ad-hoc basis, supporting the deployment of new technologies.
Expro works with clients across the entire well life cycle, offering innovative solutions, dependable competency and safety. We combine technology with high-quality data across well construction, well flow management and production, subsea well access, and well integrity and intervention, delivering extraordinary performance to keep client operations running smoothly. Expro are commissioning this role to support deployment of new technologies within the TRS and Drilling Services portfolio within Well Construction in Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa, on an ad-hoc basis depending on project needs.
Responsibilities
- Supervise operations and allocate tasks to the team ensuring safe completion of the operational task with prevention of technical issues in line with the Operating Manual.
- Ensure checks are carried out on all equipment for compliance and suitability for the operation.
- Participate in toolbox talks and planning meetings as required.
- Plan and coordinate site support requirements to facilitate continuous operations.
- Liaise with client representatives and participate in meetings to ensure continuous quality of service.
- Complete required documentation for company procedures, processes and client requirements.
- Coordinate with team members and the operations department to ensure effective communication for safe operations and task completion.
- Mentor subordinates to support competency progression when required.
- Comply with all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. Promote HSE awareness and follow the 10 Safety House Rules.
- May be required to work at onshore bases for preparation, return of equipment and report preparation.
Job Knowledge and Qualifications
- Technical knowledge gained through completion of competency for grade, and formal technical qualification.
- Extensive work-related technical experience preferable.
- Team leader / supervisory experience.
