Responsibilities:

• Lead and support Change Management Projects
• Contribute to the success of the New Product Introduction program by ensuring smooth transitions from scale-up to launch phases with relevant suppliers
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service, reduce inventory and lead times, decrease costs, improve quality, and optimize footprint/portfolio
• Coordinate daily operations and activities with suppliers
• Assess suppliers\’ technical capabilities to ensure they meet 3M\’s needs and requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering fields
• Previous experience as a Manufacturing or Process Engineer, or in a similar role
• Proven experience in supplier performance management within a manufacturing environment
• Strong project management background
• Excellent written and spoken English

Additional Skills / Preferences:

• Experience managing suppliers in the metal or electronics industries
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and audit procedures
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Background in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies

Job specifics:

• Location: UK based, within a commutable distance to Aycliffe, Skelmersdale, or Bracknell
• Hybrid working pattern: 2-3 days remote/office
• Travel: Up to 15-20% domestic/international
