The Liverpool Bus Company is seeking a skilled and reliable Vehicle Inspector to join our team. This is a key role responsible for ensuring our fleet remains compliant, safe, and roadworthy for daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of buses in line with legal and company standards
- Identify and report mechanical or structural defects
- Liaise with maintenance teams to ensure prompt repairs
- Maintain accurate inspection records in accordance with DVSA and internal compliance requirements
- Contribute to maintaining a high standard of fleet reliability and safety
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience inspecting commercial vehicles, ideally buses or other PCVs
- Strong working knowledge of DVSA standards and PSV regulations
- Relevant qualification in vehicle maintenance ( NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Ability to work independently during early shifts
