One of our companies is currently looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join their remote team from anywhere in the world.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge real-time collaboration platform used by businesses globally. As a Manual QA Engineer, you will be involved in testing web-based communication features such as video calls, conferencing, and messaging. You\’ll collaborate closely with developers and other QA engineers to ensure product quality through manual testing and robust documentation. Accountabilities:
- Plan, document, and execute thorough manual test cases for a variety of communication features
- Collaborate with development teams to reproduce, troubleshoot, and escalate issues
- Design and maintain test documentation including checklists, test runs, and bug reports
- Participate in Kanban meetings and apply Agile/DevOps practices
- Set up and manage test environments and tools
- Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and strategies
- Provide feedback on usability and potential improvements from a QA perspective
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software QA with a strong understanding of manual testing methods
- Solid knowledge of test design techniques and QA best practices
- Experience testing APIs and working with HTTP and web-based architecture
- Familiarity with Linux at a confident user level
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills (intermediate or higher)
- Experience using tools like TestRail and JIRA is preferred
