Our Chief Technology Office (CTO) drives innovation and enhances our technological capabilities. We develop strategies leveraging emerging technologies to support growth and maintain our competitive edge. By overseeing product development and fostering collaboration, we create cutting-edge solutions that meet customer needs and establish us as tech leaders.
What you\’ll own
This role sits within our two-year Technical Depth program, designed for graduates who are ready to build specialized knowledge in a single field. We\’ll support our graduates to build deep, technical expertise and specialized skills within a specific Worldpay function. Alongside on-the-job training, you\’ll build essential skills to help you thrive as a Worldpayer.
Across three eight-month rotations as a Software Engineer, you\’ll immerse yourself in technical projects and solve live complex problems with your team.
Software Engineering graduates can expect to develop key skills in delivering technology, managing against the Agile Delivery Framework at Scale (SAFe framework), partnering with supporting stakeholder groups, including QA, Product and Line of Business. This will equip joiners with the skills needed to be successful in technical delivery, as well as build their practical implementation and code release expertise, within the Payments space.
The start date for the program will be in July 2025 .

- Bachelor\’s degree in a STEM relevant field of study
- Proficiency in 1 or more programming languages
- Familiarity with software development lifecycles
Worldpay has a diverse technical environment with opportunities to work in many new and established technologies, as well as cutting edge cloud-based technologies such as AWS and Azure.
