Venatu Recruitment Group is working in partnership with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced PSV/HGV Engineer/Mechanic based in Plymouth.
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to join the team in a permanent, full-time position. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking operation where your expertise will be recognised and rewarded.
Pay & Hours
- Basic hourly rate: £22.85
- Basic annual salary: £46,339 (based on 39 hours/week)
- Overtime (after 39 hours/week):
- Monday to Saturday: £28.56/hour
- Sunday: £30.39/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on PSV and HGV vehicles
- Diagnosing faults and completing mechanical and electrical repairs
- Ensuring all vehicles are maintained in a safe and roadworthy condition
- Maintaining accurate service and repair records
- Working in accordance with health and safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience working on PSV and/or HGV vehicles
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance (desirable)
- PSV licence (desirable)
- Strong diagnostic and repair capabilities
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
