Night Maintenance Engineer
Convertech – Double E Group is seeking a Night Shift mechanical biased multi‑skilled engineer to join our team in Nottingham.
Shift pattern: nights 4 on 4 off, 42 hours per week with paid breaks and 20 days holiday. Permanent – £50,000.
Responsibilities
- Both reactive and planned maintenance on high‑speed machinery.
- Undertake machine start‑up routine and non‑routine planned shutdown as required.
- Full diagnosis and implement corrective actions to minimise downtime.
- Communicate machine status and performance across shift.
- Work in partnership with the production team and ensure optimum output.
- Collaborate as part of a small team.
- Shift hand over and liaise with production staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum of level 2 NVQ, BTEC City & Guilds equivalent.
- Mechanical or electrical bias. If mechanical you must be electrically competent.
- 3 years hands‑on maintenance experience within mechanical engineering.
- Based in the UK with the relevant rights to work.
