Your new role As the Senior Public Affairs and Communications Manager, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing the company's public affairs strategy, communications, and stakeholder engagement. Your role will involve supporting the company's ambitious expansion plans and commercial agenda through strategic internal and external stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage the public affairs and stakeholder engagement strategy. Ensure the public affairs needs of internal and external stakeholders are met, including the Board of Directors, senior leadership team, employees, and key stakeholder organisations. Collaborate with Corporate Affairs team leads across Communications, Partnerships & Events, Sustainability, Property, Commercial, and Human Resources to develop a multi-stakeholder mapping strategy and engagement plan. Liaise with departments to identify initiatives and activities for promotion to key external stakeholders. Monitor government and policy developments, providing reporting, analysis, and recommendations. Manage public policy work, including conducting research, drafting reports, and consultation responses. Provide guidance and information on policy matters, seeking advice as necessary. Conduct horizon scanning to shape policy and public affairs planning. Collaborate with the Public Relations team to ensure aligned messaging to media and other stakeholders. Support the wider Corporate Affairs team as needed. What you'll need to succeed Minimum of 4 years' experience in public affairs and corporate communications. Strong understanding of the political and media landscape in Ireland. Proven track record of developing stakeholder engagement strategies with a focus on political engagement. Experience in project management. Third-level degree in politics or a relevant field. Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Full driving licence is essential. What you'll get in return Competitive salary starting at €74,000, rising to €97,000 after 4 years, with annual increases. Modern office facility based in Dublin Head Office with free parking.
