Pension & Employee Benefits Officer

Are you looking for a role where you can apply your skills to really make a difference and help colleagues with their pension knowledge, understanding and overall financial wellbeing?

If so, you may be interested in becoming an essential part of our small pensions and employee benefits team. You will be supporting with a range of activities:

  • Supporting the day to day management and running of both our Pension Plans,
  • Board meeting planning and preparation papers
  • Promoting and supporting our member engagement programme
  • Leading on induction webinars
  • Processing pay impacting changes
  • Liaising with third parties and dealing with queries relating to our full employee benefit suite.

You will play a leading role in providing high quality, tailored guidance on pension and benefits to colleagues across the GMC. Daily activities will include:

  • Supporting the operational aspects of both pension schemes, especially the defined contribution plan
  • Supporting our comprehensive member engagement programme for all our benefits
  • Leading on the delivery of Pension and benefit changes processing and responding to queries

Working Pattern

We are happy to consider a range of flexible working options. Currently the Pension and Benefits team attend the office 1 day per week in our Manchester office and work from home for the remainder of the week, additional days may be required during the induction period. Attendance is required for our full team days and quarterly meetings.Please note that travel to London office may also be required three to four times per year.
