We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Insurance Advisor to work for a leading expert of insurance and financial advice with over 50 years in the industry based in Warwick. This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday 9am-5pm offering a basic salary up to £35,000 per annum based in experience plus bonus! This a client facing role where you will manage your own diary to visit customers so you must have your own transport. As Commercial Insurance Advisor, you will be working within a small, friendly team in providing client-focused advice, broking, and support to existing and future client accounts. As Commercial Insurance Advisor your key duties will include: Generation of new business opportunities Managing existing insurance annual renewals Face-to-face client meetings (both in and out of the office) and general administration. Working with the dedicated Account Handler support where there are established processes in place for re-broking existing cases and managing new business enquiries Using the Acturis broking system for existing client management and new business trading. We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience: Ideally at least 2 years experience within the insurance industry as a Commercial Insurance Advisor or similar Ideally you will be Cert CII qualified as a minimum however our client can put you through the qualification Solid background in servicing existing clients as well as winning new business and achieving targets Confident in providing commercial insurance products to businesses, both SMEs and larger organisations would be advantageous Good technical knowledge of the Financial Services market and regulatory framework, insurer products and schemes to include core range of policies, operating structures, processes, and objectives of the client’s business IT Skills required include the use of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and previous experience of Acturis desired Benefits Include: Bonus schemes for New Business production – target dependent 20 days holiday, plus the whole of the Christmas week so 5 weeks paid leave in total, plus Bank Holidays – and additional holidays based on length of service 3 X Salary Death in Service benefit Group Personal Accident Insurance Pension contributions increase to 5% of Basic Salary after 12 months service 50% contribution towards an Annual Parking ticket in the town after completion of Probationary Period – this is voluntary Please apply today or call us to discuss this Commercial Insurance Advisor role in more detail.
