We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Wormwood Scrubs, working as a Curriculum Manager. This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis, working 37 hours per week.

Site Information
HMP Wormwood Scrubs is a Category B men’s prison in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, West London. It offers a range of facilities aimed at rehabilitation and education, ensuring that inmates have the support and resources they need to reintegrate into society upon release.
Role Responsibilities

Please also note that the Curriculum Manager will have a responsibility for a portfolio of subject areas. Allocations will be determined following appointment, depending on the strengths and experience of the successful candidate.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Hold a teaching qualification – minimum Cert Ed or PGCE
- Degree or equivalent (inclusive of equivalent life / career experience)
- Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
- Have experience of, or an understanding of the nuances involved in, implementing continuous quality assurance procedures
- Have a good track record of successful partnership working
- Continuously demonstrate your ability to motivate and enthuse teams
- Have excellent organisational skills to prioritise workload and meet sometimes challenging deadlines and targets
- Have an ability to analyse trends and identify impacts on curriculum
- Have good IT Skills
