Aspire People, an education specialist agency, is currently recruiting for a General Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Salford (M38).
Role Details
- Position: Year 2 Teaching Assistant
- Type: Full-Time, Term-Time
- Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
- Start Date: September 2025
- End Date: July 2026 (with potential for a permanent school contract)
- Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general classroom support to the class teacher and pupils
- Assist with delivering engaging lessons and activities
- Promote a positive learning environment
- Support the whole class – no 1:1 or SEN support required
Requirements
- Previous experience as a general Teaching Assistant (KS1 experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
- Reliable, proactive, and passionate about supporting children\’s learning
