Position
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our established finance team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the day-to-day finance function, helping to maintain accurate financial records, manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, and prepare financial reports. Responsibilities and Duties
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are accurately recorded
- Maintain accounts receivable, including issuing invoices and tracking payments
- Maintain accounts payable and perform regular reconciliations
- Reconcile general and subsidiary bank accounts by gathering and balancing financial data
- Assist with the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports in line with legal and company guidelines
- Support the processing of expenses, payroll records, and other finance tasks as required
- Update and maintain financial data in accounting systems to ensure information is accurate and readily available
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly financial reports
- Assist the finance team with monthly and year-end closing activities
- Provide administrative and ad hoc support to the finance team, including assistance with accounting projects
Who you are
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance role
- Knowledge of the NetSuite accounting system is desirable but not essential
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret data and produce accurate reports
- High attention to detail with the ability to process information consistently and efficiently
- A team player who can also work independently and manage tasks with a high level of autonomy

Other information about the role
Salary: Β£27,000 per annum
Location: Lancing with hybrid flexibilities after probation period.
There is free onsite parking. The office dress code is smart casual.
