We are seeking a dedicated leader with a strong interest in service quality and patient experience, particularly for individuals with complex needs.
The Band 7 Ward Manager position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader to join our clinically led, operationally supported division managing a 20-bedded low secure unit.
Forensic experience is advantageous but not essential, as relevant knowledge development can be provided to the right candidate.
You will be an integral part of our leadership team within the Medium to Low Secure Forensic Division, contributing to the development of forensic services aligned with the service\’s strategic goals and the Trust\’s priorities.

You will collaborate with clinical and operational teams across both medium and low secure wards to ensure a clinically led, operationally supported service that delivers excellent patient care.
The ideal candidate will be motivated, enthusiastic, accountable, and capable of providing strong, effective management and inspirational leadership to meet the Trust\’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Support the Service Manager and colleagues, providing line management and supervision. Ensure staff receive annual performance appraisals in line with Trust policies.
- Analytical and Judgement Skills: Contribute to service review and redesign to meet user needs, maintaining high-quality, safe services.
- Managing Complex Situations: Obtain, analyze, and interpret data related to performance indicators and outcomes.
