Site Engineer – Setting out Engineer – Outside IR35 – Site Engineer Civils – 6 Months We have a need for a freelance site engineer (with or without kit) Birmingham B32 2UY – High-risk Debris Screens Site Engineer / Setting out Engineer role details of the job are below: To initially work on a series of debris screen projects in Birmingham B32 2UY that includes the replacement, modification, and removal of existing screen structures as per accepted detailed design. The candidate will need experience in progress reports, compiling and maintaining quality assurance records as well as design co-ordination and temporary works co-ordination The Main Duties for this role are: Undertake day to day setting out duties with no supervision. Manage and monitor all site sample / performance testing requirements and maintain records in line with the contract specification. Assist the site QS / Project Manager with providing the relevant information for records and claims purposes. Monitor and control temporary works. Develop and maintain relations with client, suppliers and sub-contractors. Setting out using total stations, and to be able to undertake traditional setting out Read and review construction drawings Undertake basic take-offs Raising technical queries with designers and other members of the client team Ensure all work complies with quality, safety and environmental policies and the requirements of the company procedures What we are looking for:- Minimum 5 years experience delivering complex projects Relevant CSCS Computer competence Civil Engineering related qualification Successful experience as a site engineer
