Senior C# and React, full stack Developer is needed for a London City based Hedge Fund who operate across the energy, commodities, equities and other financial markets. Providing a technology‑powered data platform, market access and infrastructure services to clients, the firm is looking to hire a Senior, Front Office, React front‑end and C# back‑end Engineer to work exceptionally closely with the trading desk, helping to build out a greenfield trading system. Involvement from architectural design, team leadership, development and deployment.
- Salary: up to £140,000 + a strong bonus
- Work style: Hybrid – 2 days per week (sometimes less) in the office, based in London City, Liverpool Street station
As a Senior C# and React Fullstack developer, your role will involve designing, coding, and testing all components of modern web applications. You will contribute to the overall architecture and design of the technology created and maintained by the delivery team, developing solutions to a high standard that are maintainable, testable and meet the requirement’s acceptance criteria. You will adhere to development best practices and processes, communicate with team members and stakeholders both on the technical and business (front‑office) sides, introduce ideas, and keep abreast of the latest technologies.
Experience needed
- 6+ years plus proven experience designing and building event‑driven user interfaces.
- 6+ years plus proven experience designing and building back‑end services and processes in C#.
- Web frameworks such as React, TypeScript.
- SQL Server / MongoDB / PostgreSQL or equivalents.
- Modern CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Agile and scrum development methodologies.
- Methodical approach to software architecture and design and experience employing the right design choices for a given project.
- Experience leading a team.
