Alexander Lloyd is recruiting for Senior Pensions Administrator in Glasgow, a fantastic opportunity to join a market leading Pensions Administration business on a full time and permanent basis! The organisation is renowned for its people-first culture, offering employees a wide range of development opportunities across the business.
About the role:
As a Senior Pensions Administrator, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of administration services to a portfolio of Pension Schemes, mainly Defined Benefits however may include Defined Contribution & CARE schemes too. The successful candidate will play a vital role in mentoring and checking the work of junior Pensions Administrators. Key responsibilities include:
- Completing complex BAU Administration cases, supporting on member and client queries in relation to DB and some DC pension schemes.
- Assisting and processing manual calculations and payments of scheme benefits.
- Liaising with stakeholders and confidently support on member enquires.
- Allocating and checking work of junior members of the team.
- Mentor, train and support junior members of the team where necessary
- Deputise in the absence of the Team Leader.
- Assist with ad-hoc routine project work as and when required.
Key skills and experience required:
- Current administration experience of Defined Benefits schemes; knowledge of Defined Contributions would be desirable but not essential.
- Strong manual calculation experience.
- Current experience of coaching and supporting less experienced administrators, including checking of work.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
