About the company:\\n\\nAlexander Lloyd is recruiting for Senior Pensions Administrator in Surrey a fantastic opportunity to join a market leading Pensions Administration business on a full time and permanent basis! The organisation is renowned for its people-first culture, offering employees a wide range of development opportunities across the business.\\n\\nAbout the role:\\n\\nAs a Senior Pensions Administrator, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of administration services to a portfolio of Pension Schemes, mainly Defined Benefits however may include Defined Contribution & CARE schemes too. The successful candidate will play a vital role in mentoring and checking the work of junior Pensions Administrators.
Key responsibilities include:\\n\\nCompleting complex BAU Administration cases, supporting on member and client queries in relation to DB and some DC pension schemes.\\nAssisting and processing manual calculations and payments of scheme benefits.\\nLiaising with stakeholders and confidently support on member enquires.\\nAllocating and checking work of junior members of the team.\\nMentor, train and support junior members of the team where necessary\\nDeputise in the absence of the Team Leader.\\nAssist with ad-hoc routine project work as and when required.Key skills and experience required:\\n\\nCurrent administration experience of Defined Benefits schemes; knowledge of Defined Contributions would be desirable but not essential.\\nStrong manual calculation experience.\\nCurrent experience of coaching and supporting less experienced administrators, including checking of work.\\nExcellent time management and organisational skills.Benefits: \\n\\nSalary up to £38k DOE, potentially flexibility on this for the right candidate\\nDiscretionary bonus\\nHybrid working – x2 days per week\\n25 days holiday + bank holidays + birthday leave.
