AIS is looking for a new Project Coordinator; a dynamic person who will ensure efficient running of projects, both in-house and off site, by supporting a Project Manager to achieve success from the initial sales handover, to throughout the project lifecycle and final delivery.
What Will Do You As Our Project Coordinator
- Review all project scope and technical documentation
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Check drawings and technical specifications from clients and suppliers
- Obtain quotations for products and services
- Raise manufacturing requests for materials / tools / equipment that are supplied in-house
- Place orders for products and services using Company financial systems
- Oversee in-house engineering design of mould tooling and providing project approval
- Monitor and expedite delivery of in-house and supplier provided items
- Arrange and coordinate logistics, utilising Company transportation subcontractors
An integral part of this role involves site visits and activities where you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating field personnel for site works and producing site handover packs
- Supporting the Senior Project Manager with detailed site schedule planning
- Monitoring and supporting site activities, liaising daily with Site Managers/Supervisors
- Obtaining and reviewing necessary site paperwork
- Collation and submittal of Manufacturing Record Books detailing completed site activities
What Are We Looking For In Our Project Coordinator
- Proficient in coordinating project work, both in-house and off-site
- Experienced in purchasing, expediting and logistics
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Experience presenting data /information in a clear, concise manner for approval
- Highly organised and reliable in seeing tasks through to completion
- Proficient with various IT systems including Microsoft Office packages
Pay & Benefits
- Annual salary of up to £32,000 per annum (DOE)
- Discretionary annual bonus of up to 15% of basic salary
- 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays
- Up to 6% pension contributions (matched)
