Prospero Teaching is looking for a passionate and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a specialist high school in Preston for young people with SEMH needs. Only qualified candidates will be considered for the position, and you must have experience with SEMH/SEN. Position Details Location: Blackpool Position- Higher Level Teaching Assistant Type of work- Full Time Start Date- ASAP Duration – Ongoing Daily rate – £120 to £130 Hours- (Apply online only) Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging lessons to small groups or whole classes under the guidance of the class teacher. Support children in achieving their academic and personal development goals. Work collaboratively with teachers to implement tailored learning strategies. Lead intervention groups and provide additional support for pupils with specific learning needs. Promote an inclusive and positive learning environment for all pupils. Assist with classroom management, ensuring lessons run smoothly and effectively. Requirements: HLTA qualification or extensive experience working as a teaching assistant at the primary level. Experience supporting children aged 10 – 18 in a school setting. A strong understanding of the UK secondary curriculum. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
