IT Support Apprentice – Stripe OLT

A Typical Day in the Job

  • Helping to resolve support tickets related to servers, desktops, laptops, and upgrades.
  • Responding to alerts for patching, backup, and device performance.
  • Delivering proactive, scheduled IT tasks and maintenance.
  • Managing and resolving tickets promptly and professionally.
  • Learning from experienced IT engineers and gaining exposure to a variety of technologies.
  • Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

Desired Qualities, Skills, and Knowledge

  • A genuine passion for IT and a desire to pursue it as a long‑term career.
  • A hard‑working attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware and software.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • A Grade 5 / C in GCSE English and a Grade 4 / C in GCSE Maths is required for this role.

Salary, Hours & Benefits

  • ÂŁ17,000 per annum.
  • Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Performance‑related, discretionary end‑of‑year bonus.
  • ÂŁ1,000 individual training budget.
  • 25 days holiday per year, plus bank holidays.
  • Buy and sell holiday scheme.

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships

This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to kickstart your career in IT. You\’ll learn about ticket management, troubleshooting, system patching, and more – all while gaining a nationally recognised qualification.

With a mix of real‑time lessons, flexible online modules, and support from expert trainers, you\’ll be set up for success in one of the most in‑demand industries.
