The role:
Working across import, export, and fulfilment warehouses, with duties including (but not limited to) picking and packing, shipment processing, bagging and labelling, and administrative/computer-based tasks.
General warehouse duties include collecting courier and cargo shipments for airport sheds (must have a Full UK Driving Licence), general administration and filing in all warehouses, generating and maintaining strong communication lines with other departments, and maintaining high levels of attention to detail in all tasks.
Additional responsibilities involve general housekeeping, maintaining high health and safety standards, prioritising workload based on deadlines, and working as a team player with a collaborative attitude. The role also requires reporting health and safety incidents to your line manager.
Other duties include forklift operations (training provided if needed), general maintenance of vehicles and equipment (e.g., cleaning and tidying vans, monthly inspections, forklift checks), and all other ad hoc duties as required.
Experience:
- Previous experience within an import & export warehouse.
- Ability to work different shifts if required.
- Full UK Driving Licence (Over 25 for Insurance Purposes Only).
- Experience with completing Export Customs entries.
Desirable:
- X-ray Screener.
- Forklift certification.
