La posición de Environment Surfacing Trainee está enfocada en la aplicación de texturas y materiales a modelos 3D, preferentemente con Substance Painter. El objetivo es mantener la coherencia visual siguiendo el estilo artístico definido para cada proyecto. La beca es presencial y remunerada, ideal para quienes cursan el último año de formación superior y estén interesados en dar el salto al sector profesional.
Responsabilidades principales
- Aplicar texturas y materiales a modelos 3D según estándares de calidad, utilizando principalmente Substance Painter.
- Pintar texturas estilizadas desde concepts, respetando el look del show.
- Crear texturas procedurales con Substance Designer.
- Adaptar y trabajar en varios estilos artísticos.
- Garantizar consistencia visual y cumplir los requisitos técnicos del pipeline.
- Crear y modificar shaders en los principales motores de render.
- Uso básico de Substance, Maya y/o Houdini.
- Conocimientos básicos de UV mapping y layout.
- Conocimiento inicial de shading en motores como Arnold y/o Renderman.
- Colaborar y apoyar a otros miembros del equipo siguiendo la guía del tutor.
Requisitos
- Conocimientos de Substance Painter y workflow PBR.
- Sensibilidad artística y habilidades en pintura digital.
- Dotes básicas en Photoshop o software similar para edición de texturas.
- Disponibilidad para realizar las prácticas de mínimo tres meses de forma presencial (lunes a viernes, 35h/semana).
- Estar matriculado en último año de estudios oficiales (Grado, Máster, etc.).
- Proactividad, capacidad de análisis crítico y atención al detalle.
- Motivación por la animación y la tecnología.
- Actitud positiva y compañerismo.
- Alto nivel de inglés; se valorará el nivel de español.
