Our client, a leading organisation in the housing sector, is seeking a Temporary Contracts Manager to join their dynamic team for a 6-month contract. If you are passionate about delivering quality projects on time and within budget while ensuring high customer satisfaction, we want to hear from you! 📍 Location: Shropshire 🕒 Contract Length: 6 Months 💼 Contract Type: Temporary 🏡 Hybrid Working: Enjoy the flexibility of hybrid working arrangements! Key Responsibilities: Programme Management: Ensure that programmed decent homes works are completed on time, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction. Principal Designer Role: Undertake the responsibilities of Principal Designer under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, maintaining compliance with health and safety legislation and best practises. Asset Management: Maintain and utilise the Group's Asset Management database to manage contracts, ensuring it is current and that the asbestos register is up to date. Project Oversight: Run small projects up to £1 million in value, demonstrating strong site experience and structural knowledge. Stakeholder Engagement: Manage external stakeholders effectively while assisting in quantifying valuations. What We're Looking For: Experience: Proven experience in managing contracts, particularly in the housing sector. Knowledge: Strong understanding of building regulations, health and safety standards, and JCT contract management. Site Experience: Practical site experience, with a background in delivering various projects, including minor aids & adaptations, structural works, and bank erosions.
