We are looking for a Full Time Permanent Baker to join our team at Klondyke Garden Centre. The role offers a competitive pay rate of £12.70 per hour.
The working hours are 32 hours per week over 4 days. Weekend work is required, so flexibility is essential.
The Role
As an Artisan Baker, you will work as part of the kitchen team to produce a variety of freshly baked goods daily. You should be enthusiastic about quality and freshness, creating special items for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce freshly baked scones, cakes, and desserts daily.
- Follow recipes and schedules to ensure consistent quality.
- Measure and mix ingredients, operate baking equipment.
- Decorate and present baked goods attractively.
- Coordinate with the Chef/Manager on production planning.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering.
- Minimize waste and maintain high hygiene standards.
- Clean equipment and work areas daily.
