Job Description:
We\’re recruiting for warehouse operatives to join our team at B&Q Blyth, Worksop, S81 8PU!
What will you be doing as warehouse operative?
- Loading/Unloading/Picking
- Training provided for LLOP/MHE
- Immediate Start
- No experience required – full training provided
- Monday to Friday Rotating shifts 6am-2pm – 2pm-10pm: £12.54 per hour
- Additional Night shift premium of £15.04 per hour applies from 8pm – 10pm
- We are recruiting for night shift 10pm until 6am Sunday to Thursday: £15.04 per hour

- Our open days are every week Thursday

CHECK OUR CRITERIA:
- You must be over the age of 18
- You must be able to get to site ( S81 8PU) for the shift timings listed above
- You must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- You must be able to prove your eligibility to work (present original copies of your ID)
DAY TO DAY:
- Operate Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) on a day-to-day basis.
- Get involved in a wide variety of warehouse functions, such as inbound, outbound, and stock control.
- Lifting stock, wrapping pallets, tipping containers and hygiene duties.
- Adhere to all safe systems of Work and Standard Operating Procedures
- Picking and packing of leisure and garden goods for orders going to B&Q stores and customers\’ homes
- These roles also have the opportunity for temp to perm with the client after 12 weeks (about 3 months) due to it being a new site and the client looking to build their core teams.
- The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
- Any FLT licences are desirable, but not essential as training can be provided.
- Be flexible and capable of working efficiently to meet the demands of the operation.
- A can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
