We operate from three well-stocked merchant branches located in South Lincolnshire, offering services for both collected and delivered business. Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Yard Operative, located in Holbeach. The Yard Operative will be responsible for daily tasks including receiving, storing, and distributing materials, equipment, and products. The role also involves maintaining the yard area, assisting customers with their orders, and ensuring stock levels are accurately recorded. The Yard Operative will operate forklifts and other machinery, adhere to safety standards, and collaborate with the yard team for efficient operation.
Qualifications
- Experience in materials handling and warehouse operations
- Ability to operate forklifts and other yard machinery
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Basic inventory management skills
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials
