LGV Class 1 Night Driver

Overview

Turners (Soham) Ltd is the UK’s largest privately owned transport company. We are looking for Wholesale Markets and RDCs Delivery LGV Class 1 Drivers out of our Lincolnshire Donington Depot (PE11 4UQ).

Typical shift

Night shift starts 20:00-01:00 Sunday – Thursday.

About the role

As a professional driver working for Turners, you will be required to demonstrate skill, professionalism, and excellent customer service. We are open to new drivers with limited experience and value willingness and eagerness to learn, helping to grow our driving crew with knowledgeable and competent members. We also welcome experienced drivers and recognize the knowledge and strengths you can bring to the organization.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a professional LGV Class 1 driver for Wholesale Markets and RDCs.
• Maintain high standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service on each shift.
• Adhere to schedules and traffic regulations while delivering goods to required destinations.

Qualifications

• Full HGV Class 1 (C + E) licence
• Driver CPC & Tacho Card
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English
