Overview

Position: Container Unloader – Temporary | Location: Telford, Shropshire | Start: Wednesday 17th September 2025 | Positions: 8 | Pay: Up to £12.21 per hour

Join Our Team as a Container Unloader in Telford

We are currently seeking 8 reliable and physically fit individuals to join a busy logistics team in Telford as container unloaders. This role is ideal for those who enjoy manual, active work and are looking for immediate employment.

As a container unloader, you will play a crucial role in the supply chain, helping ensure goods are unloaded and processed efficiently and safely. This is a hands-on position that requires strength, stamina, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

• Unload goods from shipping containers manually
• Handle and move stock safely, using proper lifting techniques
• Check goods for damage and report any discrepancies
• Sort and stack items onto pallets or designated areas
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
• Follow all site health and safety protocols at all times

This is a fast-paced role where attention to detail and teamwork are essential. You’ll work closely with other container unloaders and warehouse staff to meet daily deadlines and productivity goals.

Candidate Requirements

• Good physical fitness – the work involves lifting, bending, and manual handling
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Strong timekeeping and reliability
• Comfortable working in a physical, industrial environment
• Previous warehouse or manual handling experience is desirable but not essential

Essential PPE

Safety boots and a high-visibility vest must be worn on site.
