Who you will be supporting?

CB’s Support Role – Make a Real Difference

Join me in living a full and joyful life! I’m a young woman with learning disabilities and complex health needs, including epilepsy, so experience in these areas is essential. I’m looking for someone calm, upbeat, and trustworthy to support me in doing the things I love.

You’ll help me communicate using Makaton and picture cards, and support me with personal care. I enjoy music (especially Bob Marley!), laughter, and good company—but I also value quiet time at home. If you’re reliable, caring, and ready to be part of a supportive team, I’d love to meet you.

AH’s Support Role – Active, Rewarding, and Varied

AH is a lively individual with limited communication who thrives with a consistent, patient team. He uses some Makaton and benefits from calm, clear communication and gentle redirection.

This is a hands-on, active role—perfect for someone physically fit and confident behind the wheel. You’ll support AH through a busy weekly schedule including farm work, arts and crafts, hydrotherapy, and gardening. Experience with learning disabilities is essential, as is a positive, can-do attitude.

Essential Criteria

To be considered for this position, you will demonstrate exposure to two of the following areas of expertise:
