Are you proactive, motivated, professional, and friendly? We\’re looking for someone passionate and diligent to join our team as an Apprentice Carpenter in September 2025.
As a great team player, you\’ll assist your mentor in carrying out work and installations at Abri\’s properties, ensuring all tasks are performed efficiently and in accordance with good building maintenance practices.
Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, so excellent customer service skills are essential. We aim to go above and beyond to impress our customers with the services we provide.
Your Day Will Include
- Developing skills and competency relevant to carpentry, assisting trade colleagues, and supporting all service areas within the Commercial Services team.
- Delivering basic carpentry repairs under supervision of a skilled tradesperson. Assisting in repairs and installation of water services and mains.
- Understanding health and safety requirements, relevant legislation, and Codes of Practice.
- Receiving support from your supervisor and a mentor.
- Attending college and completing coursework to a high standard.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and driven individual to contribute to a dynamic team. You\’ll work on property sites across the south of England, helping to build affordable homes for those in housing need.
