Interaction Recruitment are in partnership with an established Footwear Manufacturer in Northampton. The company is partnered with one of the leading fashion labels in the world, and this is a very exciting time to join them.
We are looking experienced Assembly Operatives to work on our clients\’ bottom floor support with the assembly of the shoes. In this department you will be supporting everything to do with the bottom of a shoe.
Duties
- Shoe Assembly
- Glueing sole to the base of a shoe
- Finger Polishing
- Lasting – Using lasting machines and hand tools to achieve the desired shape.
- Shaping the shoe by pulling and stretching the upper over the last,
- Ensuring proper fit and alignment of the upper and sole.
This department can be quite loud when the machines are running, so you must be ok with working in a loud environment.
PPE will be provided.
