Job Title: Customs Brokerage Coordinator (4 on 4 off, Day Shift) Location: Heathrow Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 + 10% shift allowance Hours: 7:00am – 19:00pm Customs Brokerage Coordinator Job Overview My client is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customs Brokerage Coordinator to join their team on a 4 on 4 off day shift schedule. This role is essential to ensuring smooth and compliant import and export processes by overseeing customs entries, providing instructions for other brokers, and auditing entries to maintain high standards. If you have a strong understanding of customs tariff regulations and are looking to take your career to the next level in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you! Customs Brokerage Coordinator Responsibilities Prepare and submit Customs Entries for both Import and Export shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customs regulations. Provide clearance instructions to other brokers, ensuring all necessary documentation and requirements are met for successful clearance. Maintain a strong understanding of the Customs Tariff and apply it to ensure appropriate classification and duty calculations. Regularly audit the customs entries processed by other brokers, verifying compliance with regulations, company standards, and accuracy. Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve any customs-related issues or discrepancies. Stay up-to-date with changes in customs regulations and procedures to ensure continued compliance. Assist in managing any customs-related inquiries from clients or authorities and guide as needed. Help improve and streamline customs processes to enhance efficiency and reduce risk. Qualifications: Proven experience in Customs Brokerage or a similar role within the logistics or freight forwarding industry. Strong understanding of Customs Tariff and regulations for both import and export shipments. Excellent attention to detail and ability to audit customs entries accurately. Ability to provide clear and concise clearance instructions to other brokers. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with internal teams, clients, and external authorities. Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
