Job Title: Ductwork Installation Engineer / Supervisor THE COMPANY My client are a specialist mechanical contractor working within the construction industry. They design, supply, install, service & maintain air conditioning, heating & ventilation systems to commercial buildings. Established in 2004, they are based out of their offices are in Hertfordshire & currently employ 30 people. THE ROLE – Ductwork Installation Engineer Location: 70% of our work is within the M25, the remainder is across the south with working away sometimes required Hours: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours/week + overtime) Due to growth, they are seen a Ductwork Installation Engineer to join their team and to carry out the Installation of various ductwork systems to high standard and quality, alongside our ductwork team. Duties: Installation of various primary & secondary ductwork systems (WC/tea-point/kitchen extract, MVHR, AHU, AC ductwork) Scaling and setting out correctly Working to drawings and programme Working in a tidy & safe way Take-off of materials from drawings Site measures and orders Liaising with supervisors & project management team Skills & Qualifications Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the ductwork industry Experience as an improver or fitter CSCS green or blue card City & Guilds/NVQ in Ductwork/Duct fitting preferable Personal Qualities Must be reliable Must be polite and respectful Have good time keeping/punctuality Must be confident & clear when communicating A willingness to problem solve using own initiative Must be of neat & tidy appearance SALARY & PACKAGE £30,000 – £35,000 depending on experience & ability 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays Van & Fuel Card Pension Uniform & PPE PLEASE CONTACT SEAN HITCHMAN ON (phone number removed) / SHITCHMAN @ (url removed)
