We’re looking for a Lead Technician for Jebel Ali, responsible for overseeing and coordinating the work of a team of technicians in the refurbishment, repair, and maintenance of Aggreko equipment. Ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and effectively.

What you’ll do:
- Ensure the completion of repairs and refurbishments on time, to standard, and within agreed budgets for both specific repairs and overall department budgets.
- Ensure adherence to safety practices and quality standards.
- Support the manager in the allocation of resources to meet contractual requirements, including job planning and adherence to hours allocated for each job.
- Responsible for testing and analyzing equipment upon arrival and before final completion; and final inspection of equipment after repair and prior to release to fleet.
- Plan the workload to maximize utilization of the section.
- Ensure all plant tooling, lifting, and measuring equipment used within the field operation is maintained, calibrated, and inspected according to the appropriate procedures.
- Lead, guide, and support a team of technicians.
- Conduct quality control checks.
- Manage the schedules and workloads of team members.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper coordination of work activities and timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to technicians to improve their skills and performance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations.
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
- Experience leading multicultural teams in a workshop or factory-based environment.
- Technical competence, preferably in Power Generation and HV equipment.
- Ability to define, set, and improve standards.
- Hold themselves and others accountable.
