We are looking for Drivers to join our client based in Rochester. Our client is a large automotive company and has operations throughout the UK.

The Role:

As a Compound Driver, your responsibilities will include:

  • Moving vehicles within a large compound, including workshop entries and bay parking.
  • Handling various transmissions (manual, automatic, semi-automatic) and inspecting vehicles for damage before moving.
  • Working outdoors in all weather conditions, with safety boots and car-friendly workwear required.

The Person:

  • Hold a valid UK driving licence for a minimum of two years, with no more than six points for minor offences.
  • At least 21 years of age, for insurance purposes.
  • Comfortable driving a diverse range of vehicle makes, models, and sizes.
  • Experience with both manual and automatic gearboxes is necessary.
  • Previous professional driving experience is advantageous.
  • Weekly pay.
