ABOUT THE TEAM
The Financial Services Merchant Acquiring team is a fast-growing product area within Tide, which is on a mission to provide the simplest and easiest ways to get paid. It is of prime importance for our merchants as payment acceptance is critical to enabling commerce for any business.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Tide is looking for an exceptional commercially-focused Senior Product Marketing Manager in our Acquiring area to build out our Merchant Payments Acceptance Product propositions, sales and marketing suite.
The key KPIs for this role are adoption of Acquiring products and revenue, which you’ll unlock through:
- Driving financial forecasting, revenue management and commercial discussions.
- Owning the overall sales and marketing strategy for a product area in order to achieve product adoption goals, with particular emphasis on CRM/customer lifecycle management, telesales and content. At Tide, Product Marketers create the strategy and brief teams, define channel strategy and execute communications.
- Collaborating with Product to build the right features for members, and translate these into member-facing propositions that you take to market. This includes working with user research and providing feedback on designs.
- Coordinating GTM for features and launches making sure everything is on track and teams are enabled.
- Developing value propositions and positioning informed by user research, market insights, Tide’s data and your product understanding, and embedding this through product and marketing channels.
- Applying data and research to every decision you make, and ensure this discipline is followed by all stakeholders at every point.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- You have 5+ years of experience in Product Marketing. Experience in the small business banking space, fintech, SaaS platforms, physical point-of-sale (POS) systems and eCommerce payment solutions is helpful but not essential.
- You ask ‘why?’, and critically engage with ideas, strategy and proposals, and constructively provide feedback and your points of view.
- You leverage data and analytics to inform decisions, optimize marketing KPIs/metrics, and enhance product adoption and engagement.
- You have driven adoption and scaled a complex product in a fast-growing company before, with an appreciation for the nuances of user acquisition, activation and retention as well as product activation, usage and monetization.
- You have a foundational understanding of CRM, performance marketing and sales enablement, so that you can constructively collaborate with these channels and drive improvements.
- You have built value propositions and positioning for SaaS products, including for specific target segments.
- You are comfortable having commercial discussions using hands-on data analysis tools like Looker, Heap, or similar platforms to dive into the numbers.
- You are organised, resilient and independent. You take the initiative and enjoy working in a fast-moving company where priorities can change and processes may need to be created from scratch.
- You enjoy collaboration and influencing, building relationships outside of your immediate team, and can be a self-starter taking ownership and working backwards from ambitious goals, driving targeted and effective execution.
WHAT YOU’LL GET IN RETURN
- Competitive salary
- Vitality Health Insurance, with a proactive focus on mental and physical wellbeing
- 24/7 Employee Assistance Program
- 25 days holiday with the ability to buy extra days
- Access to ‘salary sacrifice’ benefits such as Cycle to Work scheme and pension contribution
- Spacious brand new office in Liverpool street with an all-day snacks bar
- Flexible working options
