Heavy Haulage Administrator We are looking for an organised and computer‑literate individual to join our busy Transport team. This is a key role ensuring smooth day‑to‑day administration and support for transport planning operations. Main Duties & Responsibilities: Manage and update transport schedules and records accurately in company systems Obtain and file permits and approvals as required Ensure compliance with regulations and internal safety standards Communicate effectively with customers, drivers and colleagues Complete all administrative tasks, including data entry and reporting Deal with any issues or infringements promptly Conduct regular audits and checks to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures Monitor systems and workflows to improve efficiency and cost‑effectiveness Requirements: Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Strong attention to detail and accuracy in administrative work Proficiency in computer systems and software used for scheduling and reporting Ability to work as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and customers Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Knowledge of transport administration or logistics processes Experience: Experience using Excel and all other Microsoft Applications (Essential) Previous experience in an administrative or transport support role (Desired but not essential) Familiarity with planning tools such as HIAB or container planning systems (Desired but not essential) License/Certification: Clean Full UK Driving Licence (desirable) Job Types: Full time Permanent Potential Start Date: Immediate Start Schedule: Monday to Friday Occasional Weekend Availability Expected Hours: 50 per week Benefits: Overtime Opportunities Government Company Pension Uniform Training Health Assured Programme Company Healthcare Package (after 6 months’ probation) Work Location: Office based, Ripley, Derbyshire Job Reference upon enquiry: Heavy Haulage Administrator41bf1e1f-b16b-4260-a40a-17c77a06fd15
