Hey If you’re looking for work with meaning, work with purpose, work where you can make a genuine difference to people’s lives on a daily basis, then it might just be worth reading on. I’m working with Jumbulance, an Essex based charity who make travel and holidays accessible to EVERYONE. Their fleet of specially designed vehicles make journeys that may have once seemed impossible…well…possible. (That sounded better in my head). Headquartered in Leigh on Sea, due to an increase in demand for their services they’re on the lookout for a Volunteer Coordinator to join their small but perfectly formed team. This role will see you charged with recruiting, onboarding and training volunteers in collaboration with your colleagues and charity trustees as well as thinking strategically about opportunities to support fundraising efforts and provide an experience for volunteers that leaves them feeling engaged and connected to Jumbulance’s mission. You’ll need an eye for detail, a head for admin, a…ummm…a mouth… to promote the charity at networking events (sorry that was a bad one ) and at the very least a basic level of respect for data and how it should be stored (don’t worry, there’s training on this). You’re also going to need to be based in or around Leigh on Sea as whilst there’s plenty of flexibility to work from home the team do collaborate from a super cool space where you’ll have regular opportunities to meet up and feel part of something BIG. Previous experience working as a volunteer coordinator isn’t necessary. Nor is there a need to have worked with a charity (although if you have done either then let us know). This is an amazing opportunity to make an impact, to play a tangible part in giving opportunities to people that, without you, wouldn’t otherwise get them. You’ll also be working with a team who are nothing short of sensational. Base salary will be dependent on experience but the range sits at £23-30,000 If you’d like to learn more you’ve got a few options: Apply via the link in this advert. Get in touch with me directly for more information. Send a carrier pigeon to 9… Ok that’s a joke, I’ve got nowhere else to put them. Please also feel free to follow Jumbulance Trust on LinkedIn and Instagram jumbulance_trust to learn more about the incredible work they do. Much love, John41bf1e1f-b16b-4260-a40a-17c77a06fd15
