Mental Health Assistant
We are looking for multiple Mental Health Assistants for an ASAP start. These are full‑time, long‑term roles for the entire academic year. The school is an “Outstanding” secondary school located in the borough of Westminster and takes candidates directly onto its own books.
Pay: £24,500 per annum (39 weeks, paid for 52) – 8 am to 5 pm.
Responsibilities
- Supporting children in and out of the classroom.
- Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis on any issues, in and out of school.
- Supporting SEN – ASD, ADD, dyslexia, speech and language difficulties and much more.
- Acting as a buddy.
- Providing them with school in‑care / after‑care.
- Working with parents, SLT and social services if need be.
