Job Title: Social Worker – Duty and Assessment Team Location: Bradford Pay Rate: £35 per hour Job Description: Liquid Personnel is recruiting Social Worker for it client\’s Duty and Assessment Team located at Bradford. Join the dynamic Duty and Assessment Team at Bradford, where the team is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families across the district. Based in the vibrant city of Bradford, the team offers a supportive and collaborative environment where your professional development is valued. As a Social Worker in the Duty and Assessment Team, you will be the first point of contact for new referrals, undertaking assessments and making informed decisions to ensure the safety and well-being of children. You\’ll benefit from flexible working arrangements, regular supervision and a strong team ethos. What will your responsibilities be? Deliver statutory social work services in line with current legislation and Bradford MBC procedures. Undertake timely assessments of children and families, ensuring the child\’s voice is central to all interventions. Respond to safeguarding concerns and initiate appropriate action, including strategy discussions and Section 47 enquiries. Work closely with families, carers, and partner agencies to develop effective support and safety plans. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and reports. Participate in regular supervision and reflective practice.
