Senior Environmental Manager – Ground Engineering Works (Sizewell, Suffolk) £60,000-£70,000 + Benefits Our client are supporting the delivery of one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects – Sizewell C – and seeking a Senior Environmental Manager to join the ground engineering works team. Key Responsibilities • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and project-specific requirements • Develop and implement environmental risk assessments and mitigation strategies • Prepare and maintain key documentation (CEMPs, water/nuisance/pollution plans) • Apply for environmental permits and liaise with regulators as required • Monitor on-site performance and advise on air, noise, water, waste, and ecology measures • Conduct inspections, audits, and support incident investigations • Provide training and promote environmental awareness across teams and subcontractors • Track and interpret emerging environmental regulations, providing guidance to project teams • Analyse environmental data and contribute to internal reports and meetings • Ensure accurate reporting and client communication on environmental performance Requirements • Degree in an environmental discipline (preferred) • IEMA Associate membership • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within construction • Strong IT, communication, and project management skills • Proactive, solution-focused mindset and ability to work independently Note: You must have the right to work in the UK
